Track record

Former COO of Tabs. I built its creator program to 100M monthly social impressions, and the paid ad engine alongside it. The numbers below come from videos that program produced.

Same playbook as at Tabs: creators in volume, one variable per test, losers killed early, and a paid engine that reuses the winners. The category is different. Naked & Thriving is skincare, and I have not run skincare. That is why the claims sheet and the category rules come before the first brief.

Why now

  • 2533

    Reviews on one serum

Renew Resurfacing Night Serum shows 2533 reviews at 4.63. That gives creators a product with customer voice behind it to build the first videos around.

    Published
  • 10,139

    Reviews on a single page

One page of the site shows 10,139 reviews at 4.7 stars. Creators have real customer language to react to, and we can ask for more of it on camera.

    Published
  • 10%

    Subscribe & Save

The site offers Subscribe & Save 10% on every order. A creator video can end on a repeat-order offer instead of a one-time buy.

Part 4 of 15

Principles

  1. Ten creators, two at a time

The ramp adds two creators a week until ten are live. Each pair gets a week of feedback before the next pair starts, so mistakes stay small.

  2. Seven videos per creator per week

Seven videos a week from each creator makes 303 videos a month at ten creators. Volume lets us kill losers early and keep the hooks that hold.

  3. One number to protect: $1 per 1,000 views

The target is Proposed. The first simulation reads $5.74, so most of the work is finding the hooks that close that gap.

  4. The work channel is the contract

Briefs, claim questions, reports and drafts live in one workspace. If it isn't there, it didn't happen, and nothing posts without the claims sheet.

Part 4 of 15, continued

One channel for everything

#briefs

Briefs, drafts, reviews and the weekly numbers

Illustrative
  1. PriyaMon 8:30 AM

This week's brief: show Renew Resurfacing Night Serum in your real night routine. Seven videos. Hook options are in the doc. Pick the Renew angle or the Night Set angle, never both in one video.

  2. JonasMon 11:10 AM

Can I say Renew gets rid of wrinkles?

No. Say what the brand says: it supports gentle exfoliation and leaves skin looking plump, clear, and visibly smooth. Nothing stronger.

  3. PriyaTue 2:15 PM

Draft sent back: the first three seconds show the box, not the skin. Open on the dropper bottle in your hand and say the hook line. Reshoot and resend in #drafts.

  4. Report botAppFri 9:00 AM

Weekly report: videos logged per creator, cost per 1,000 views against the $1 target, top hook and bottom hook per format. Two videos flagged for claims review.

  5. MeiWed 6:40 PM

The dropper-pour video just passed 100,000 views, organic only.

That earns the $50 flat bonus. Logged. One per creator per month, so keep posting.

  6. Check botAppThu 7:00 AM

Check: one live post from last week uses a line that is not on the claims sheet. The creator has been asked to edit the caption or take the post down.

  7. PriyaWed 9:15 AM

Reminder: mention Subscribe & Save 10% or free shipping on orders $50+ only in weeks when I confirm the offer is live. Otherwise stick to the product.

The messages illustrate the working channel, with invented people: briefs go out on Monday, claims questions get an answer the same day, and nothing posts without the check.

Part 5 of 15

Formats

  1. Dropper pour

    Brief 01

    Dropper pour

“This is my last step before bed.”

Close shot of the Renew dropper over the palm, then onto the face. One take, natural light, no filter.

  2. Night Set swap

    Brief 02

    Night Set swap

“I swapped my night routine for two bottles.”

Clear the counter, then put Renew and Rejuvenate in. Show the steps in order and say each name aloud.

  3. Two jars, one shelf

    Brief 03

    Two jars, one shelf

    “Which moisturizer goes on first?”

Open Nourish Active Barrier Cream and Restore Ultra-Rich Night Cream on camera. Texture on the back of the hand.

  4. Serum pair

    Brief 04

    Serum pair

“One bottle to brighten, one for night.”

Hold Illuminate BC+ and Renew to camera, read the labels, then show one application of each in your routine.

  5. Face oil last

    Brief 05

    Face oil last

“The last drop of my night routine.”

Tight shot of Rejuvenate Restorative Face Oil going on after serum. End on the bottle and read the name off the label.

Every product line in a video comes off the claims sheet word for word, for example “Naturally-derived skincare with clinical results”, “Hydrate and visibly firm skin overnight”, “Our iconic glow ritual, made to travel.”. Product names are said as printed.

Part 6 of 15

Recruiting

Four sources in

  • Routine and shelf-tour creators

Creators who already film night routines and bathroom-shelf tours. Search by routine, then check for serum and face-oil steps like Renew and Rejuvenate.

  • Customers who already post

Renew Resurfacing Night Serum shows 2533 reviews. Ask the lead's team to flag customers who post about it; they already speak in their own words.

  • Direct outreach and marketplaces

Short, specific messages naming the Night Set or the Refresh Routine, sent to skincare creators found through search and creator marketplaces.

  • Affiliate or ambassador page

An affiliate or ambassador page was not found on the site. I would start with direct outreach and build a simple apply form with your team.

Five filters, fewer each step

  1. 1Routine, not reach

Posts a real night or morning routine with serums and creams, not only product hauls.

  2. 2Fluent with ingredient names

Can read Bakuchiol or Vitamin C Booster off a label aloud without adding claims.

  3. 3Clean claims history

No past posts promising fixes for skin conditions or dramatic overnight change.

  4. 4Bare skin, natural light

Shows skin and the bottle in one take, with no heavy smoothing filters.

  5. 5Seven videos a week

Can hold seven videos a week through the ramp and sends drafts to #drafts.

Part 7 of 15

Who we want

  • Night-routine nerd

Films the last minutes before bed, serum then oil, in order, and explains each step.

Likely product: Renew Resurfacing Night Serum

  • Sensitive-skin sharer

Talks about delicate skin and simple steps, with no big promises.

Likely product: Gentle Skin Set: Soothe, comfort, & support sensitive skin

  • Travel-bag minimalist

Packs small and shows airport-ready routines in a single bag.

    Likely product: The Discovery Set

  • Mature-skin storyteller

Talks honestly about fine lines and a routine kept up over time.

Likely product: Wrinkle-Fighter Set: Illuminate, Renew

  • Moisturizer reviewer

Compares cream textures on hand and skin and is plain about what each one does.

Likely product: Advanced Moisturizer Duo: For a visibly plump glow

  • Hand-care ritualist

    Shows desk-drawer self-care and small gifting-ready picks.

Likely product: Replenish Velvet Hand Cream

Left off, every time

Always left out: anyone who sells skincare as medicine, posts before-and-after promises, says a product fixes a medical condition, targets minors, or copies other brands' claims. Category rule: skin results are only described as how skin looks, never as medical outcomes.

Claims sheet

Approved, word for word

Quoted exactly as the brand publishes it.

  • “Naturally-derived skincare with clinical results”

Opening line of the first video in any format

  • “Naked ingredients. Thriving Skin.”

    Closing line or caption

  • “Hydrate and visibly firm skin overnight”

Refresh Routine videos, shown with the set

  • “Our iconic glow ritual, made to travel.”

    Travel and minis videos

  • “Travel essentials for delicate skin”

    Gentle Skin travel set videos

  • “Subscribe & Save 10%”

End card, only in weeks the lead confirms the offer

Never said

Each one with the reason it stays out.

  • It gets rid of wrinkles

Outcome claim. The brand only says it helps skin look smoother.

  • It fixes acne or sensitive-skin conditions

Medical outcome. Creators describe how skin looks, nothing more.

  • Works better than any other serum

Comparison with no support on the site.

  • Dermatologist recommended

No such statement was collected, so it cannot be used.

  • Results guaranteed in days

Invented timeline and a promise the brand never made.

  • Safe for everyone, including pregnancy

A safety claim the site does not make.

To confirm with the brand

Held until someone on the brand side signs off.

  • Free Shipping on Orders $50+

The site gives conflicting terms and dates, so the lead confirms the offer each week.

  • An alternative to retinol that studies show is as effective as retinol on wrinkles

It is the brand's wording about Bakuchiol, but creators wait for the study to be confirmed.

Part 10 of 15

Pay

  • Starter

    $300–600

    a month, by band

Starter: newer creators with a real routine and a small audience; lowest cap, quickest to review.

    Bonus at the cap: $300

  • Standard

    $500–1,000

    a month, by band

Standard: steady posters who hold seven videos a week and keep a clean claims record.

    Bonus at the cap: $500

  • Premium

    $800–1,500

    a month, by band

Premium: creators whose Renew or Night Set videos already travel, with room for the highest bonus.

    Bonus at the cap: $700

  1. Under 100,000 views

    $0

The base pay covers the work.

  2. 100,000 views

    +$50 flat

    Whatever the band.

  3. 1,000,000 views

    Top-up to your cap

Bonus = band cap − base pay.

  • One cap bonus per creator per month, paid when the creator reaches the cap for the band.
  • The $50 flat bonus goes to a video past 100,000 views, one per creator per month.
  • Organic views only; paid boosts, reposts and bought views do not count.
  • No bonus on a video that broke the claims sheet or the skincare category rule.

Starter: $600 cap − $300 fee = $300 bonus; Standard: $1,000 cap − $500 fee = $500 bonus; Premium: $1,500 cap − $800 fee = $700 bonus.

The bonus pays for reach after the work is done, never instead of it. One bonus per creator per calendar month keeps it an incentive and keeps the program cost predictable.

Simulator

Ten creators, 303 videos a month, 1.8M views and $10,050 cost: $5.74 per 1,000 views against the $1.00 target. It closes only if 4.2% of videos go viral or the median reaches 21,711 views.

Above the $1 target at these inputs.

To hit $1, the roster needs about 10.1M views a month. That means about 4.2% of videos going viral, or a median near 22K views per video. That is why the day-90 gate exists: keep the accounts that clear it, replace the rest.

Proposed, not measured. Views = videos × median, breakouts at 10× the median, viral at 750K. Bonus: +$50 for a viral video, one per creator per month.

The math. Videos a month = 10 creators × 7 a week × 52 ÷ 12 = 303. Views per video = (1 − 4% − 0.5%) × 1,500 + 4% × 10 × 1,500 + 0.5% × 750,000 = 5,782.5; 303 videos × 5,782.5 = 1.8M views a month. Cost = 10 × $1,000 = $10,000 base + 1 bonus × $50 = $10,050. Cost per 1,000 views = $10,050 ÷ 1.8M × 1,000 = $5.74 against a $1.00 target. To hit the target, either 4.2% of videos go viral or the median video reaches 21,711 views, other inputs held.

Move the sliders and the label recalculates. The result is only as good as the guesses behind it, so the median views, the share of breakouts and the share of viral videos are marked as Assumptions until the first month of posts replaces them.

Organic to paid

From organic to paid

  1. Pick the winners

Videos past 100,000 views organically, plus the best hook of each format, go on a shortlist.

  2. Get usage permission

Ask the creator for permission to run the video as an ad before any money goes behind it.

  3. Test one variable

Run the original hook against one new hook for Renew Resurfacing Night Serum, with nothing else changed.

  4. Scale or kill

Winners get more budget against the one number to protect. Losers are killed early and the creator is told why.

From the video to the checkout

  • Renew Resurfacing Night Serum videos go to its product page, $68.00, with 2533 reviews.
  • Night Set and Wrinkle-Fighter Set videos go to their own set pages, not the homepage.
  • Mention Subscribe & Save 10% only where the lead confirms the offer is live.
  • Mention free shipping on orders $50+ only with the shipping terms confirmed.
  • No retailer or store count was found, so the destination is the site itself.

Part 15 of 15

Skincare rules

Skincare rules for creators

Naked & Thriving sells serums, oils and creams, so every post follows six rules. Each one keeps the creator on how skin looks and on the brand's own wording.

  • Looks, not outcomes

Say how skin looks: plump, clear, visibly smooth, as the brand writes it. Never say a product changes how skin works or fixes a condition.

  • Brand wording only

Health-adjacent lines come from the claims sheet and are attributed to the brand. If a line isn't on the sheet, ask in #claims-check first.

  • No comparisons

No claim that Renew beats another brand's serum or a prescription. The Bakuchiol line about retinol stays out until the lead confirms the study.

  • Disclose the partnership

Every paid post says so in plain words in the first line. Gifted bottles are disclosed the same way, so followers always know.

  • Real skin on camera

No heavy filters or edits that smooth skin during application. The bottle and the skin appear together in one take.

  • Use as written

For Illuminate BC+ with the Vitamin C Booster, say daytime use is followed by sunscreen of SPF 30 or greater, as the product page says.

The brand’s legal team sets the final rules. This is the operating floor I’d start from, not legal advice.
